$ storesmith services --list
StoreSmith builds the Shopify Plus work a theme can't do: custom apps, automation, headless storefronts and deployments at scale. Every engagement is quoted before work starts, as one-week build sprints, a monthly retainer or a fixed price per fix. AI drafts against a written spec; a senior engineer reviews and signs every merge.
01 — what we build
Private and public apps, checkout and payments extensions, Shopify Functions, admin tooling. Through App Store review when it needs to be public.
apps →ERP, PIM and WMS sync, B2B price tiers, order routing, Flow and scheduled jobs. The manual steps your ops team does every morning, gone.
automation →Hydrogen or Next.js on the Storefront API, multi-market and multi-language, content from your CMS. Fast because it's engineered, not because it's a template.
headless →Replatforming off Magento and WooCommerce, expansion stores, 10k+ SKU catalogues, B2B + B2C on one Plus org. Cutovers planned like releases.
scale →not our focus: template store setups and theme reskins — we'll point you to someone good.
02 — pricing
No hourly meter. Every engagement has a written scope and a number you approve first. Our apps are priced on their own listings.
For new apps, automation, headless builds and replatforms.
For stores already running custom apps or integrations.
For specific problems found by Store Health or by you.

03 — how an engagement runs
A call with an engineer, then a written spec: what changes, how we prove it, what it costs.
You sign off the spec and the price. Nothing starts before that.
AI drafts against the spec; a senior engineer reviews every diff. Weekly demo on a preview store.
Each merge carries the engineer's name. Code and repo handed over; guarantee starts.
04 — questions
Builds are priced per one-week sprint, quoted after scoping. Each quote lists the scope, acceptance tests, sprint count and a fixed price per sprint, and you approve it before work starts. There is no hourly meter. If the scope changes, the quote changes in writing first. Specific fixes have a fixed price per finding, from $400, shown before work. Shopify Plus fees, third-party app subscriptions and hosting are billed by those providers directly.
Every change that reaches production is reviewed line by line by one senior engineer and merged under their name. On the website that name is a role handle: lead.apps, lead.checkout, lead.themes or lead.data. If something goes wrong, you know who to call, and they already know the code.
Yes. AI drafts the code against a written spec. A senior engineer reads the full diff and decides whether it merges. The AI does the typing; the engineer does the deciding and takes the responsibility.
You do. The code and the repository are handed over to you.
Every engagement type carries a repair guarantee. If anything we merged regresses within 90 days, we repair it free.
No. StoreSmith focuses on custom apps, automation, headless and large-scale Shopify Plus deployments. For template store setups and theme reskins we will point you to someone good.

Tell us what's slow, manual or breaking. An engineer replies with what we'd build, how long and roughly what it costs.
